TERRY FOX RUN

TERRY FOX RUN

On Monday September 21st, 2026 we plan to participate in the Terry Fox Run! We will gather to read a book about Terry Fox, have some discussions and share the relevance Terry Fox has had on our lives today.  We plan to begin our run around the track at 11:00 am.

Please ensure your children come to school in comfortable clothing and shoes to be able to participate and enjoy the experience.

Donations welcome. A small gesture of a Toonie for Terry goes a long way. We appreciate your participation and contribution.

First Day of School

Dear Montessori Casa Families,

Welcome back! We are so excited to begin another year together at Montessori Casa. We are ready to welcome the children back into their environments with beauty, order, and joy.

The start of a new school year is always a time of transition, and we are here to support each child—and each family—as we return to the rhythms of community life. At the heart of our work is nurturing the human spirit, and we look forward to seeing the children’s joy and individuality unfold as they settle into their environments.

A quick reminder for our work cycles:

Elementary begin at 8:30 a.m.

Casa begins at 8:45 a.m.

Young Children begin at 8:30 a.m.

Please also review the Welcome Package email for details on what to bring, drop-off routines, and other important administrative information.

Community Day

We are deeply grateful for your dedication to Montessori Casa. Community day is our official end of school year event to celebrate our children, educators and families.

Time: 9:30 am to 12:00 pm

Date: Friday, June 19th, 2026.

Please keep in mind that you are required to accompany your children for the entirety of the event.  There will not be any teacher supervision provided by Montessori Casa.

Once the event is over the school will be closed until Monday, June 29th, 2026 when our summer program will commence.

Parent-Teacher Discussions

Casa Parent-Teacher discussions will take place on the evenings of May 13th, May 14th and for a full day on the May 15th PA Day.

Elementary Parent-Teacher discussions will take place on the May 15th PA Day.

A registration email will be sent in advance of the date.

Mother's Day Tea

Mother’s Day Tea

To all of our wonderful mothers. We are looking forward to celebrating you at our Annual Mother’s Day Tea.

Please join us on May 8th 2026 at 4:00 pm for a Mother’s Day Tea in the outdoor space.

Please pick up your child(ren) and enjoy some quality time, delicious teas and light refreshments.
