OUR SCHOOL STAFF

Ms. Julie Chun

Julie Chun was born in a city close to Seoul, South Korea.  When she was 9 years old she and her family
immigrated to Canada in hopes of a better life.  In Vancouver, she enjoyed learning a new language,
making new friends and adopting a new culture.  Watching her immigrant parents work long hours, she
also adopted a hard-working model as she grew up.  After high school, she pursued her dream and
attended Ryerson University to acquire a degree in fashion design.   Upon graduation, she worked for
numerous designers and in fashion companies. After becoming a mother and raising her two daughters,
she realized she wanted to find a career working with children.  She has since worked in many private and public schools.  She recently completed her AMI elementary orientation course and is currently serves in the Casa Children’s House.  Someone once told Julie, “The greatest gift to give children is their
education.”

Education in Toronto, Ontario. She completed her undergraduate studies in Early Childhood Education.

Frontier led to understanding the gaps and holes in Montessori education in our region. Currently she is
expanding her knowledge in the next plane of development and taking her AMI Elementary 6-12 training at the Montessori Institute of North Texas. Mrs. Vadera lives in Pickering with her husband and two
children. She currently serves as the Head of School.

Ms. Rebecca Bodington

Ms. Boddington attended a Montessori school as a child. This, in a big way, led her to where she is today.
As the unofficial saying goes: ‘Montessori never leaves you’. After completing a Liberal Arts degree
program, she worked with children in various capacities, from volunteering with a youth ministry
organization to teaching a homeschool kindergarten curriculum. Along the way, hearing more and more
about Dr. Montessori, her interest in Maria’s method of teaching began to grow. She completed her AMI
