Young Children’s Community (YCC)

  • The Young Children’s Community is for children from 18 months to 3 years old.

  • The environment is designed to allow the children to maximize movement and work independently with materials and furniture that is just the right size.

  • Children in this environment do not wear diapers and toilet learning is a large part of their independence. We work closely with parents to successfully support this process.

Casa

  • The Casa program is for children from 2 ½ to 6 years old.

  • Registration in Casa requires a commitment to 3 years. It is vital that a 3-year age mix (3-6 years) be preserved in each classroom to ensure your child is offered the most authentic Montessori experience possible.

  • Children work in a non-competitive environment and learn they are independent contributors of an interdependent community.

  • While working at their own pace, children find purpose and joy with work in areas of Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Math and Culture. In uninterrupted work cycles the children are able to find periods of deep concentration and focus.

  • The environment is carefully prepared to meet the individual needs and interests of the children.

  • Our environment is not based on a curriculum but a Scientific approach to meet the needs of your children at every stage of development.
