AMI Canada Parent Engagement – Understanding Your Child’s Behaviour
In collaboration with AMI Canada we would like to invite our parent community to join us for the “Understanding Your Child’s Behaviour” workshop. This workshop is designed to provide you with comprehensive insights into your child’s brain development from birth through adolescence. By exploring the stages of brain development, you will gain a deeper understanding of the origins of your child’s behaviours and the underlying processes that drive them.
Join Melanie Noble on May 15th as she explores:
Understanding Brain Development: We’ll look at the critical phases of brain
development, highlighting the changes that occur at each stage from infancy to teenage
years. We will learn how these developmental stages influence their child’s emotions,
thoughts, and behaviours.
Behavioural Insights: We’ll will delve into common behavioural patterns and challenges
faced by children at different developmental stages. This understanding will help us to
identify the root causes of certain behaviours and respond more effectively.
Practical Strategies: We’ll review practical, evidence-based strategies to support a
child’s development and respond to behaviours constructively. These strategies are
designed to foster better communication, strengthen the parent-child bond, and
promote positive behavioural outcomes.
